I started practicing yoga when I was studying at university and then came back to it years later after moving to Canada. Yoga helped me to deal with my physical health issues and stress, related to working long hours in the restaurant industry as a chef.
I used to practice regularly at least 2 times a week at a local studio and Yoga became my escape and my rescue. I wanted to learn more about yoga and I enrolled in Yoga teachers training at Sheridan College in Oakville.
I loved the program and at the end of it, I was excited to share my passion for yoga with everybody around me. I wasn’t ready to teach a group of “strangers” yet and I started practicing on my friends. I would guide them through a yoga session once a week and that help me to find my voice and teaching style.
